Pet Policy

Forest Creek and Homeville apartments will allow one pet per apartment. Pet rent is non-refundable. 

All pets must have prior approval.  Dogs must be no higher than fourteen inches and weigh no more than thirty-five pounds fully grown to be approved as a pet. Animals must be kept on leashes when outside the apartments per the City of Ruston’s leash law.

Pet owners are responsible for flea and tick control of the pet while in the apartment. If a flea infestation occurs the resident is responsible for pest service costs to eliminate the infestation. Any damage incurred by a pet or service animal will be the sole responsibility of the resident, including the repairs or replacement of flooring, doors, blinds, windows, etc. The pet rent does not cover any damage caused by the animal.

We DO NOT accept the following dog breeds, sub-breeds, or any mix in their lineage: American Bulldog, Catahoula Leopard, German Shepherd, Dobermans (including miniature), Rottweilers, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terriers, Chows, Pit Bulls, Akitas, Mastiffs, Presa Canarias, Giant and Standard Schnauzers, Airedale Terriers, Bouvier des Flandres, Briand’s, Canarios, Dingo’s, or Wolf Hybrids. Restrictions are not exclusive of others commonly referred to as aggressive breeds. Exotic pets (snakes, lizards, hamsters, etc.) or fish aquariums over ten gallons are not allowed.
